Challenge: Fight against changing algorithms and AI to grow a portfolio of digital brands.
Strategy: Managed the production of 1,400+ stories/month following SEO and E-E-A-T best practices. Implemented over 11 new company editorial guidelines and trained staff and freelancers. Conducted content kill audits, site redesigns, and forged new syndication partnerships.
Result: Led the highest traffic growth and revenue period in company history with over 160M PVs/month, and above 80 CWV scores, across all sites from March to September 2022. Galvanized Media was named No. 1,747 on the “2022 Inc. 5000” annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Eat This, Not That! — Catapulted Traffic
Challenge: Compete in an oversaturated food + nutrition category.
Strategy: Built new editorial categories, launched a 24-member medical expert board for authority, and created SEO- and trend-driven editorial calendars.
Result: Traffic grew from 12.9M monthly users in 2020 to 22.6M in 2021.

Challenge: Launch an Instagram-forward lifestyle brand for women passionate about surf, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
Strategy: Developed brand voice, visual identity, editorial content, social presence, and e-commerce shop.
Result: Created a niche, highly engaged community celebrating women in surf and ocean conservation. Sold apparel and accessories throughout the U.S., Europe, and Australia. -
em magazine - built a legacy
Challenge: No student lifestyle magazine existed at Emerson College.
Strategy: Co-founded em magazine in 2007, overseeing editorial vision, design, and launch strategy.
Result: The publication is still running today, becoming a core part of the school’s media ecosystem and an attractive draw for prospective students.
